Welcome to The Jesus Way, a Bible reading plan designed to draw you closer to Jesus as you walk with Him through Lent, from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday. As a church family, we are using this season to go deeper into the way of Jesus, the practices and truths that shape a life of discipleship.
Lent has long been observed by the Church as a season of prayer, fasting, and repentance, inviting us to intentionally align our hearts with the Lord as we prepare to celebrate His resurrection. Together, we will follow Jesus through the Gospel of Matthew, seeing how He fulfills the story of Israel and, by God’s grace, becoming more like Him along the way.
Traditionally, Sundays during Lent are observed as “feast days.” In keeping with that rhythm, we will pause our Matthew readings on Sundays and reflect instead on passages typically read during the Sundays of Lent.
