This is one of our favorite events of the year, we hope you’ll join us at one of the event time slots this Oct. 24th - 25th! Meal Packing does replace every typical church service on Sunday and only infant through preschool will have Kidtropolis Children’s Ministry available. If your child is 5 or older, they will be able to help pack and have fun with you, serving alongside.

Here’s a little idea of what you can expect day of during your time slot:

When you arrive at the church, be sure to keep your belongings and your coffee in the car. Because we are preparing food, these items will not be allowing inside the building. Before you enter, you will be given the opportunity to drop off your donations of coats and shoes (not required) and asked to pick up a pair of gloves, a hair net and get a hit of hand sanitizer!

Once you join us inside, find an opening at one of the tables. Each table will need 10 people to meal pack and 1 Table Champion. This is a great opportunity for you to serve with your friends, family or as a community group. This is also a wonderful way to meet new people you may not have connected with before.

As we get started, you will watch and listen to a short instructional video sharing the purpose and the simple steps to actually packing the meals. Try to arrive a little early so that you can grab a table and ensure you don’t miss this valuable instruction.

Each table will be pre-set with all the food, packing materials and equipment needed for your time during the event. You will pack together as a table for the full hour. This time always goes by surprisingly fast and is a ton of fun. We can’t wait to see you!
