Lake Forest is a community of people on a journey of pursuing Jesus – together. And we need each other to make it all happen.
There are so many places to make an impact at Lake Forest: little kids, big kids, on stage, behind a camera, saying hello, making meals, and much more. Not only does your service honor God and show love to our church community, it’s also a great way to meet others.
Opportunities to Serve
Youth Ministry
You don’t need to be a Bible scholar or SnapChat aficionado to come alongside youth as a re:mix leader. In fact, you can just be a pretty ordinary person who wants to make an extraordinary difference at a crucial time in someone’s life.
If you are interested in serving at re:mix, whether it’s at the Snack Shack once a month, or as a leader, let us know below!
Children’s Ministry
Join our Children’s Ministry team of “Heroes” by providing a nurturing and dynamic environment to learn about and experience God in our Early Childhood and Elementary programs (Infants – 5th grade). There’s opportunity to greet and check-in families, lead small groups, provide technical support, sing, act, or create as you partner with parents on the spiritual growth of their children.
If you have a heart for leading children and are eager to share God’s lessons and love, we hope you will consider a role in Kidtropolis.
Tech Team
Would you like to create a space for people to find their role in God’s story through the creative arts? The tech team is a vital part of our Sunday morning worship services. No experience required, just a heart to serve!
Roles include:
Camera operator
Photography
Audio mixing
Lights
Running slides
Safety Team
We are looking for men and women to serve regularly to help ensure the safety of our campus on Sunday mornings and for special events. Reach out to Melissa Alvarez for more info!
Meals Ministry
Our Meals Ministry Team works to provide meals to those who have recently experienced surgery, a new baby, death or hospitalization.
If you would like to serve as a part of our Meals Ministry and provide food for others OR if you need to make a request for meals for yourself or another member of our church family, let us know below!
First Contact
Is kindness your gift? Our first contact team is crucial in helping first time visitors feel welcome!
Roles include:
- Greeters
- Parking team
- Ushers
- Prayer team
- Coffee team
Facilities Team
Lake Forest Church hosts people from the Lake Norman community every day of the week, which means there are a lot of moving parts!
There are needs throughout the week that include set-up, facility repairs, cleanup, organization, and more! If this sounds like a role you would be interested in filling, let us know!
