Welcome 101 is the first step on our Discover pathway and is required for anyone interested in becoming a Lake Forest Church–Huntersville Ministry Partner (our name for member).

Over three sessions, you'll explore God's story, reflect on your own faith journey, learn more about Lake Forest Church, build relationships, and discover how God has uniquely gifted you to serve.

By the end of the course, you'll have a clear understanding of what it means to be a Ministry Partner and the opportunity to take that next step.

Please note: Attendance at all three sessions is required to complete the course.

November 1, 8, 15 from 11am-12:30pm

In this 3-week session, you can learn and ask questions regarding baptism for infants, children, and adults. This class is required if you would like to be a part of LFC’s next baptism service on Nov. 29th.

Tuesdays, Sept. 29th - Nov. 17th | 6-8 pm

Strengthen your marriage with practical tools for deeper connection, better communication, and lasting intimacy. This 8-week course includes dinner, private conversations, and a supportive environment to help you grow closer in every season of marriage.

Sundays, Sept. 20th - Dec 13th | 4:45 - 6:15 pm

Discover how your family can be part of God’s mission as we trace the Bible’s story of God creating a worldwide family. Over 10 weeks, you’ll explore practical ways to form faith, practice hospitality, and help your family live on mission—no matter what season of life you’re in.

Thursday, Oct. 15th | 5:30 - 7:30 pm

Parenting with Purpose is an encouraging evening for expectant parents and families with children through elementary school, featuring honest conversations, practical wisdom, and real stories from parents and pastors. Come find encouragement, helpful resources, and a community of people who understand the joys and challenges of parenting—you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Thursdays, Oct. 29th - Nov. 19th | 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Life Shared is a 4-week experience designed to help you grow more confident and intentional in sharing your faith with the people around you. Through practical teaching and conversation, Rebecca Dorn will equip you with simple, meaningful ways to talk about Jesus and live out your faith in everyday relationships.
