Why Do We Give?

We give because everything we have is a gift from God. Giving is one way we respond with gratitude and trust, using what God has given us to make a difference in the lives of others.

As followers of Jesus, we're called to SHARE our lives for Jesus' Church sacrificially. That means sharing our time, our gifts, and our resources so that more people can discover Jesus, find community, and grow in their faith.

Lake Forest Church is funded by the generosity of the people who call Lake Forest home. The ministry that happens here every week is made possible by people who choose to give.

Where Does My Giving Go?

Your generosity helps support everything from Sunday gatherings and our staff and ministry teams to kids and youth, community groups, pastoral care, facilities, technology, and the many ways we serve our community.

And because we believe the Church is called to look beyond itself, 13% of every gift to Lake Forest goes toward local, national, and global Missio Dei initiatives, helping us serve people who are vulnerable, overlooked, and in need.
