At Lake Forest Church, we embrace the Missio Dei—the mission of God—by actively reaching out to those in need: the homeless, the homebound, orphans, widows, and those who are often overlooked or unreached.
At Lake Forest, you’ll find opportunities to serve locally alongside our partner ministries, take part in short-term, cross-cultural mission trips, or support others through prayer and financial contributions. Our mission is simple: to show the love of Jesus to one more person in need, offering hope and help wherever it’s needed most.
Meal Packing
Join us on November 8th and 9th, 2025, as we come together to make a global impact by packing nutritious meals for those facing food insecurity. This event is a great opportunity to serve our community and beyond, and we invite you to bring your family and friends. This event is open to ages 5 and up. We have a variety of roles available to fit different abilities and availability.
Caterpillar Toy Store
Lake Forest Church Huntersville, Caterpillar Ministries & Southlake Christian School, are so excited to partner to put on the Caterpillar Christmas Toy Store. We’ll need your helping hands to make this a success! Take an ornament from the tree in our lobby and/or volunteer during the event. The Toy Store provides a chance for parents to shop for new Christmas gifts at discounted prices, providing dignity and joy.

Community Pregnancy Center
Community Pregnancy Center of Lake Norman, serving Mooresville and Huntersville, North Carolina, is your one-stop Pregnancy Medical Center specializing in early pregnancy confirmation, options counseling, after-abortion care, and parenting support. We assist those navigating unplanned pregnancies with free and confidential services. Our mission is to offer compassionate services and hope through education, material supplies, and community connections. No matter your situation, our caring team is here to help.
Roof Above
We believe that home is critical to provide safety, stability, and dignity in people’s lives. Each day, we serve 1,200 people in our community –half we serve through our homeless services, and half are formerly homeless served through our housing programs.
Alongside Families
Alongside Families exists to connect isolated families to local church communities that champion family preservation and thriving. We provide safe, loving homes with volunteer Host Families in partner churches where parents in the greater Charlotte and Asheville, NC areas may have their children cared for temporarily while seeking to restore stability in their lives.
Charlotte Rescue Mission
Charlotte Rescue Mission is a leader in providing cost-free, faith-based residential recovery programs that help people struggling with the disease of addiction achieve long-term sobriety, find financial stability and stable housing, and build healthy relationships.
Watchman of the Streets
The Watchmen of the Streets minister to homeless who live under bridges, on the streets and in homeless encampments in the woods in Charlotte area and throughout NC, SC, other states and countries.
Unpackin’ It
Our mission is to challenge, encourage, and inspire sports fans to follow Jesus and become more like Him. Our content and resources aim to relate sports to life and faith and help sports fans connect with Jesus on a deeper level. Join us in this mission and be a part of the community of sports fans following Jesus!
ForCLT
FORCLT was founded by a group of pastors out of a shared burden that the operating system of the Church in Greater Charlotte is broken. Historically, the Church has been divided, declining, and too often disengaged from meeting the needs of our city, all while leading to epidemic levels of pastoral burnout. While this can be discouraging, in John 17, our Lord Jesus provided the answer when He prayed “…that they may become perfectly ONE, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.” This is why the FORCLT Network exists. To Unite the Church to Transform Our City.
